How to Display Basic Information About Your Windows 7 System
Welcome to our first podcast or screencast if you will entitled windows Help Desk Windows 7. I’m your host, Rudy Stebih and during this series, I’ll show you how you can work smarter with Windows 7 and take you PC experience to the next level. Let’s get started with our first topic on finding basic information about your computer. We begin by displaying system information about your operating system in computer in the system control panel. There are three ways of opening this dialogue box.
The first and simplest method is to use the keyboard shortcut, the Windows Logo and Break key. Secondly, you can right click on the computer and choose properties. And finally, in control panel click the System and security category then System. Here, you will be shown your operating system, version number and service pack level under the windows edition heading. Your processor type, speed and total memory installed can be seen under the system heading.
